Show & Tell: NieNie Asks -- Kids and Computers

My father used to count my hours near the computer then I was a boy (12-14years old) now I'am 29 and my day begins with a computer and end with it. (I'am computer repair technician, own a business in Lithuania) and I think I can blame just my father :) .... Let the kids play with computer then they are kids. Imagine your parent won't let you play with a ball or ride a bike.. Dinosaurs disapeared humas apeared ...(sorry for my language it's foreighn for me).

My son is almost six, and I feel he really has no business being on a computer in the first place. That said, I do let him play games on the Lego website a few times a month. So he gets maybe 4 hours/month and I feel that's an overestimation.

I allow my children to play for as long as they wish.... after all my baby is 26 and the others are older :)

Seriously though... when they were younger.... for as long as their DAD would allow them to!

It turns out that I'm not very good at limiting their time -- I get busy doing other things and forget -- so I limit which days of the week they're allowed to play them. On those days they will usually play for an hour or two.

Now I have the music from the original Super Mario Brothers running through my head. I'm conditioned to remember it every time I think of video games :)
