What are you thankful for today?

Since it is getting close to the Thanksgiving holiday, I decided to post some of the things I am most thankful for this week:

My darling girls at the Mindy Gledhill shoot.

I missed to add a link. What I'm thankful for:
1. My two year old's crazy hair.
2. My two year old's Knock Knock jokes that I don't understand.
3. My five year old's honesty.
4. My five year old's yearning to learn new things.
5. My husband's art.
6. My husband's food. {He cooks a good meal}
7. The students that I have that want to learn.
8. In this time and day I'm thankful for our jobs.
9. My niece and nephew's.
10. My sister's unborn child. {She's pregnant} I'm praying for a healthy one because she's a carrier of a rare chromosome flaw.

I am thankful that my daughter and especially my son are happy. The have both become their own adult persons finding their way in the world on the brink of the working world. It has been a tough seven years of teenage dispair for our family and I am thankful we have come through it.

I'm 16 weeks pregnant and was recently diagnosed with a large kidney tumor. Last week I had my kidney removed. I am so thankful to be alive. I am thankful for my 4 (almost 5) kids. I am thankful for my amazing husband. I am thankful for my mom who sat up and scratched my legs until 4am after I had surgery. I am thankful for friends, family, and neighbors who have stepped up and done so much for me. I am thankful for the so many prayers that were and are being said on my behalf. And I am thankful for the faith that was instilled in me from a young age. Faith is what has gotten me through this whirlwind month.

I am thankful for my family, work, and a great number of things. It is going to be interesting to read what others are thankful for this Thanksgiving. I hope you have a great holiday.

the fact that my son's room is almost clean and he's doing it almost all by himself; that I'm feeling okay about playing Christmas music BEFORE Thanksgiving and am allowing myself - and daughter - to decorate for Christmas before turkey day so that after our black Friday shopping madness I can wrap and deposit the gifts under the tree, skipping the whole "find room in the closet" debacle; and I'm thankful for friendships, new and old. I am blessed with an abundance of wonderful family and friends!

after 2 years of my hubby working nights to go back to school, I am sooo thankful he is done and home at night again. I never knew how much I'd miss his snoring!

I am thankful for a lot. I am thankful for my wonderful husband. I'm thankful for my family and health, I'm thankful for all the opportunities that I have coming up this next semester. I'm grateful that I have the opportunity to go school. And the list could just go on and on! Many people think that I don't have a lot to be thankful for because we live in such a tiny apartment. Yep, it's 380 square feet, but so what? I think that no matter what, one should love life and live every minute of it to the fullest! :) We all have so much to be grateful for.

After three year of dealing with postpartum anxiety and depression I am thankful for Normal. I am thankful that I can wake up and fix my children breakfast, and do dishes, and play games with them. I am thankful I can do the laundry and take a shower and read a book and that my husband can go to work and not worry. And I am thankful for the Lord's unfailing love and commitment to me.

I am thankful for down time. It feels like the deep breath before the craziness of the holidays begins; the "on your mark... get set..." I'm going to try to remember to relax every now and then over the next several weeks. Are you ready for the holidays? Cuz here they come!! :)
