Show & Tell: NieNie Asks -- What Makes You Happy?

I love to exercise. I love the feeling of being tired for a GOOD reason! And I love the results of my efforts. I am very grateful for my freedom to exercise, and it makes me feel happy daily.

And I love happy people! I am teaching Spanish to elementary school students, and I have one kindergartner whose incessant giggle during her excitement to learn and play our learning games fills my heart with laughter. This morning, her happiness made my day when she won 3rd place in Spanish Bingo. I love my teaching job so much when I am with her!

One year ago today, Feb 1, we met our beautiful expectant birth mother for the first time, it was like meeting my sister. Two months later our son was born and I watched him take his first breath. My son and the wonderful family relationship we have with his birth family makes me happy every day, but especially today as I reflect on the anniversary of our first meeting (our first meeting in this life anyway).

Being finished with six months of chemo to rid myself of ovarian cancer.

I posted my link above .. But I have to say it here as well.. My Husband is so crazy fun! I had a Photo Shoot to do and He was fantastic.. The Emperors New Cloths was never so fun!

my everyday phone with my best friend and be able to chat with my friends.

I love waking up every morning next to MY Mr. :) He is my best friend and I love knowing that when I wake up every day, he'll be there :) I love him so much. Marrying him almost 1 year ago was the best decision I ever made. Who doesn't wanna be married to their best friend?

Aside from friends and family, I'm ashamed to admit just how much this game makes me happy! But it sure has come in handy during long nights awake with one child or another. :)

I just realized this morning how happy that 10 minute walk in the morning makes me. My son had said, "I wish that we lived right there" (pointing to across the street from his school). "But I would miss talking to you on the walk to school," I replied. That is when it hit me regarding how much I treasure those times to connect before the craziness of each day truly begins...
