NieNie here, with another Monday question for you:

What is your favorite no-no breakfast?

NieNie's cinnamon rolls

My sister-in-law Lisa made me these delish sweet rolls.

Wow.

What's yours? Share with pictures or in comments!

Even though I currently can't indulge in these treats - my Grandmother makes INCREDIBLE caramel rolls made from scratch. They are so bad for you but sooooo good :) Brings back memories!

I used to teach early morning seminary in my home. On Fridays I would make breakfast. So I tried a lot of recipes over a 4 year period. I hope you don't mind that I share a couple.

Chocolate. Yum! If I eat my homemade raw chocolates (organic raw cacao, coconut butter, agave and celtic salt mixed to desired consistency and refrigerated just like plopped cookie dough sitting on a pan), it gives me tons of energy and I'm all happy. :o)

Anything that is a diet no-no makes a great breakfast :) Lately I've craved the loaded breakfast burrito at Carl's Jr. Loaded with almost a day's worth of calories, it's a guilty pleasure best saved for special occasions -- like Mondays. Or Tuesdays...

NieNie! Wishing a belated happy birthday to your Nicholas, who happens to share a birthday with my own little man who just turned 4 years old. :)

Jack wishes you a happy birthday, Nicholas!! He hopes you had some good cake. :)

Cinnamon rolls are by far my favorite no-no breakfast. And cookies. Possibly leftover apple crisp. Mmmmmmmm…

I'm pretty plain jane when it comes to breakfasts. I like whole wheat toast, bacon and eggs. I think some sweet rolls on the side would be delish.

of marshmallow grilled sandwiches. It sounds like something I'd 'invent' though - awesome!

OMG, has to be the McDonalds steak bagel (no egg, no cheese, light sauce, but STILL EVIL).

How about the Godiva Chocolate Graham Cracker I just ate at my desk? That should fit the bill as a no-no.

But seriously, it's gotta be donuts. It's nothing but fat fried bread dough topped with sugar. Anything w/eggs, no matter how jammed with calories (Eggs Benedict, Hash & Eggs, Huevos Rancheros), is still eggs. It's a source of protein!!!

I love FRIED FRENCH TOAST for breakfest with melted butter and real maple syrup! YUMMY, you should try it and you will never have it any other way again :-)

My normal no-no is the infamous Brown Sugar Frosted (and filled) Pop Tart. But today, because of my baking yesterday, I have Triple Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies! There's a ratio of 3 cups oats to 1 cup flour, and if you don't count the butter, sugar and 3 kinds of chocolate chips, I'd say it certainly better than that pop tart and still a step ahead of my next breakfast no-no...Cinnamon Toast Crunch!

A plate full of chocolate chip pancakes. I always regret that by lunch time!

jumbo homemade cinnamon rolls are a favorite breakfast indulgence around here!

Last summer when I had my wisdom teeth (finally!) removed, I had an allergic reaction to the pain meds... so I had to tough it out. Ice cream was the only thing that made the pain stop... and nothing says, "Great way to start the day!" like a big fat bowl of ice cream. :)

Reading this post before breakfast is dangerously tempting! If only I could grab one of those sweet rolls through the screen...
My favorite no-no breakfast is Greek pita - pastry pie, especially those filled with spinach and feta cheese.
Luckily, I either have to get to the village pastry shop really early or they are sold out, or drive to the next village - which means on most mornings I manage to talk myself into eating a healthy breakfast instead...

I have to say I love baking soda biscuits and country gravy. I'm not a sugary breakfast kind of girl. My dad would make this on mornings when he didn't have to go to work, so it has a special place in my heart and my tummy!

Hi Nienie,

I had to laugh when I read your question this morning. I was eating a big bowl of fruit salad. I know it sounds good and healthy but if like yesterday I make the fruit salad Hawaiians taught me,it is full of coconut milk and condensed milk :) Here is a proof of my big No No breakfast!

I would have to say, I am a sucker for leftovers. With a diet pepsi.
Or... I have been known to eat icecream for breakfast.
Yikes. I can't believe I just admitted that.

Were you in my kitchen today?

I had some leftover key lime cupcakes from a bake sale this past weekend. So I ate one for breakfast. I mean, it's key lime. That's a fruit, so it's a breakfast food. RIGHT?!

Or, the worst breakfast of all -- no breakfast. :p

I love donuts, especially the ones filled with cream. I know they are bad for me so I have them for breakfast like once a year. If I could, I would have them every single day.
