"Silence contains more than words can say."

 With silence more is really said without anything being said at all.  Silence, it seems to me holds everything and our words tend to limit our perceptions and awareness. 

To value silence is to value a lot.  Silence is rich.

I have a friend I used to give tennis lessons to in Malibu.  His name is Joel Grey.  He is a very fine actor, singer, dancer and funny fellow.   He is always just bursting with energy.  Even though his stature is small he seems huge because of this magnetism.  I remember sitting across from him one day at the beach years ago, both of us in silence and both of us laughing inside at just being there.  There was nothing to say to add to the presence of the moment.  I remember this being a really poignant moment.  Of course, you had to be there to experience it and again, words cannot describe this moment to you.
