In my previous two posts about caring for your skin at different life stages I emphasized the need to gently wash your face every night, use skincare products with antioxidants in them, exfoliate regularly, and use a retinoid product. And of course you are still using your sunscreen daily and remembering to reapply.
Menopause may cause some women to have breakouts because of the hormonal changes their bodies are undergoing. If you are experiencing breakouts consider using a topical retinol product since this product will help your menopausal acne and your wrinkles simultaneously.
If you haven’t tried chemical peels or microdermabrasion by now I suggest you try these treatments especially if you are in your 40s.
