Slow Cooker Meatballs



Fall is slow cooker season and football, so time for meatballs!  This is my favorite homemade meatball recipe and I hope you enjoy it as well.
For the Meatballs:
1 lb ground beef or turkey
1/2 cup Italian style breadcrumbs
1 tablespoon dried Italian seasonings
2 tsps fresh minced basil
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheeses
1/4 cup of milk
1/4 salt
1/2 black pepper
Remaining Ingredients:
1/2 chopped, large onion
2 cups Italian gravy or Marinara 
Combine meatball ingredients into large bowl.  Mix well, but do not overmix.
Roll your mixture into balls about 1 1/2 in diameter size.  
Place chopped onions on bottom of slow cooker, then meatballs.  Pour sauce to coat evenly.  
Cook on low 6 - 8 hours


The cure for boredom is curiosity. There is no cure for curiosity.
