In a Twitter interaction on 8th of March, the 2014 International Womens Day, Atiku Abubakar spoke to the male followers on what his thoughts were on Gender Equality. The Nigerian former vice president shared his view that equality "means providing equal access to education, and economic opportunity for all: men and women." He started the discussion by asking people who they thought was the most historically significant women in Nigeria and what their own views were on gender equality.
