Blog Comment Guilt: To Return or Not to Return

Featured BlogHer Network Post

Editor's Note: Love Life Surf is struggling with comment guilt. She likes to respond to comments but has sadly fallen behind, and she asks her readers how they approach comments. --Mel

I know bloggers each deal with comments differently – some respond, some don’t, some do offlne, etc. I try to respond to each comment that I receive and I try to visit that person’s blog as well, if they have one. It’s not a tit-for-tat thing in my mind or even an obligation. For me, it’s about community and gratitude.

Do you respond to comments with an email? Do you go and read that person's blog and comment there in return?

accept the good
