‘Brides Against Breast Cancer’ Sells Designer Wedding Gowns For A Good Cause

Philadelphia News, Weather and Sports from WTXF FOX 29 Brides Against Breast Cancer (BABC), an organization which offers programs and services to cancer patients, is on its annual nationwide “Tour of Gowns,” according the organization’s website. Volunteers go through donated wedding gowns at BABC’s headquarters in Sarasota, Fla., and then take the dresses to bridal expos in about 120 cities each year, Fox 29 News reported. For the past 16 years, BABC has been spreading breast cancer awareness, and selling discounted designer wedding dresses to brides, with 80 percent of proceeds going toward providing free services for families affected by breast cancer, according to Fox 29 News. . . .
