A Chai-Spiced Granola So Delicious You'll Be Eating It by the Handful

Featured BlogHer Network Post

Editor’s note: Making homemade granola is one of those things that takes little effort and yields incredible results. Sarah from Baking Serendipity bakes up a Chai-Spiced Granola, with oats, cacao nibs, vanilla, maple syrup, and two kinds of nuts. But it’s the chai spices--ginger, cardamom, cinnamon, and nutmeg--that send it over the top. I’ll be eating this granola by the handful.--Jane

I try to keep a container of granola on the counter all the time. I lazily chop and microwave apples, then top them with a few spoonfuls. It makes it into yogurt most often. And! I’ve been sneaking dark chocolate chips into a small bowl that gets drowned in almond milk in the mornings. It’s a reliable comfort food made slightly new.
