The thing about processing death is that it comes in waves. Sometimes you can see them coming, sometimes you can't. Sometimes it takes an event occurring, a friend in need, something else external to make it all come into sharper focus.Then, suddenly, it all just starts to make sense in a way that it didn't before. . . .
