I’ve been keeping up with my evening walks/runs/walks on the ranch, and six weeks after I started this madness, I’m happy to report that I’ve lost a few pounds, my jiggle has noticeably decreased, and—most importantly—I feel darn great. Part of this, I’m convinced, is just getting outside for an hour or so each night, breathing in the pure and holy Oklahoma air, clearing my cluttered and moderately scattered mind, and sweating profusely while enjoying a healthy dose of God’s creation. And, let’s face it, hanging with the dogs. . . .
