Friday Faves: The Arsenal

The main thing that’s keeping me from running right now are some big ass muscle knots at two different trigger points: one in my ass and one at the top of my calf. To attack these guys, my chiropractor has been graston-ing the crap out of them, and between appointments, I’m self-massaging them with every weapon in my arsenal of recovery equipment (read: torture devices) to help break up the adhesions and improve circulation to these spots. Between rolling on a variety of hard objects (insert terrible TWSS joke), I’m using a few other weapons to help loosen up my legs, which is one of the many critical steps I need to take to prevent these guys from returning. . . .
