It's Girl Scout Cookie Season: Deep-Fried Thin Mints
Editor’s note: It’s that special time of year once again. You know, Girl Scout Cookie season. But instead of just eating a whole box of Thin Mints while no one’s looking (not that I’m admitting to that), Jennifer from Kirbie’s Cravings decided to deep-fry them. Sprinkle a little powdered sugar over the whole batch and you’ve turned the time-honored cookie into a kitschy dessert. --Jane
My favorites are the Samoas and Thin Mints...I immediately wanted to do something with them other than just eat them. I got the idea for fried thin mints after someone left a comment on my fried Oreos post. The thin mints stand up remarkably well in the high heat. These were pretty good, especially with a little powdered sugar dusted on top.
