But this oatcake recipe is a great substitute, and is simple to make at home. It's a great and affordable option if you need a cracker that's perfect for dipping, but doesn't have any gluten at all! --Genie]

Which is why it seems almost magical to me how good they are. Now, don't get me wrong, I didn't expect them to be bad or I wouldn't have made them, but I was surprised by how very tasty and flavorful something could be that was basically grain and water with a pat of butter and maple syrup.
