Helping Children Become Digitally Literate

At Moms with Apps they are concerned about how to teach the current crop of children referred to as digital natives the skills they need to navigate the waters of interconnectedness. They ask some provocative questions and suggest conversation topic for parents with children who are just approaching the world of online life. Some questions:
The pending issue is Digital Literacy.
We’ve got a new world to face, and it’s not just about parental controls.
Are my kids going to find more comfort in their social networks, or in their family?
Will they be responsible or destructive digital citizens?
How will they derive their self worth at the age of 13?
