Featured BlogHer Network Post

[Editor's Note: Homemade hot fudge sauce is not just a fantastic ice cream topper— it also makes a wonderful gift around the holidays! Check out her video walking you through the process of whipping up a batch of this sweet treat to give as gifts! --Genie]

I think this hot fudge sauce is better than any other I have ever tasted because it is the perfect ratio of chocolate, butter, cream and sugars. Then, to really push the flavor over the top, I add pure peppermint extract to give it a minty candy cane-esque flavor.
