Pumpkins can last a long time so you can start with your basic orange but after Halloween you can change the color for Thanksgiving painting some browns, reds & yellows, and if you get a really Great Pumpkin you can paint it for Christmas ~ I love this Idea :)
I love the color combo of turquoise and orange all year round so I'm totally into the idea of bringing turquoise into my orange pumpkin world. Have you seen all the Halloween decor at Target this year? They seem to agree.
I also like the way the stem is wrapped in twine.
Depends. When you think outside of the box, it better wind up being pretty freakin fantastic... or it just looks lame. Just my opinion.
It's nice to have some different colors. It's not like black and orange were born out of Halloween.

The Turquoise pumpkin is kind of "Tim Burton-esque"
I'm particularly fond of traditional fall colors, but love the modern look of things like turquoise pumpkins. And a friend just got married who used white pumpkins on the ground on top of orange and yellow leaves to decorate inside the chairs along the aisle.
