[Editor's Note: As a kid, I loved to eat the milk at the bottom of my bowl of Cheerios. I dug down under the milk layer for the sugar that had accumulated at the bottom, and, spoonful by spoonful, happily ate the liquid with its sweet suspension of crystals and the flavor of the ghost of the cereal long devoured. But cereal milk doesn't just have to be for kids. This recipe allows everyone to make it for all kinds of culinary uses. Read on to learn more! --Genie]
This was by no means the first recipe that came out of our kitchens, but it is far and away the most popular and what we are known best for. Drink it straight, pour it over more cereal, add it to your coffee in the morning, or turn it into panna cotta or ice cream.
