You're ready to exit stage left from your current job. Should you tell anyone? Hint at the fact that the minute you land a job you are outta here? What if your boss tells you that she is headed for the door? Is this good or bad news? Surprisingly the answer is...it depends. Check out this strategy for surviving this situation in the workplace.

In an earlier post, I told you how I concealed my exit plan from my colleagues. In retrospect, I’m not sure it was the best strategy.

But what about the other end of the spectrum, when your boss tells you he’s dissatisfied and is hoping to move on within a few years?
