Leftovers and scraps in the fridge can make a fast, healthy and yummy meal. For example; *Carrot *A third sweet onion *Two cloves of garlic *Half roasted chicken *Cooked lentils *Low-sodium chicken broth I grabbed all of the above items from the fridge, did a quick saute, tossed remaining items in the pot, simmered for 15 minutes and then announced to my husband, at 11:45 in the morning, that dinner was ready. I felt like Wonder Woman. . . .
