Make DIY Stamps With All Those Wine Corks
By Melody Nunez: Art, Writing and Life in General on March 29, 2012
I used to save corks to make picture frames (cut them in half and glue them around the edge of a picture frame, then treat with Birkenstock cork treater). I've also seen people make trivets out of corks. Never in a million years did it occur to me to make stamps out of them, though.
Melody Nunez is really sort of brilliant. Corks are the perfect size and shape to make into stamps:
Making corks from stamps is a great way to reuse something you might otherwise throw away, and the resulting stamps can be used to embellish anything from a place card to the pages of your art journal!
