I thought he died a long time ago: Former Pennsylvania governor and presidential candidate William Scranton, 96, has died after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage: Scranton, a progressive Republican from the northeastern Pennsylvania city named after his wealthy family, was elected to Congress in 1960.
