Outside Without a Coat

We haven’t had much significant snowfall here in southeastern Pennsylvania. In fact, this light snow is about the first we’ve seen this winter.
These sheep are probably missing their wooly jackets. Some shepherds shear their sheep in the fall so the pregnant ewes will stick closer to shelter during the cold, windy months. Ewes with heavy wool are more likely to lamb outside, which isn’t such a good idea for the babies!. . .
