In my training for a November 50 mile race, I have a goal of doing two 4-5 hour training runs on trails. I figured I'd do them both in October, but due to scheduling challenges I ended up planning to do a long trail run this weekend instead of one of the October runs. Since I knew I was going for a long run today, I planned to run a fun 5K on Saturday with Faith and Peanut. . . .
