Re-Homing a Beloved Pet

It's a tough decision to remove a family member from one's home, even if it is the best solution for everyone. Add a baby to the mix and, quite often, the dynamics change. -Editor:

"When we rescued Sasha from a local animal shelter four years ago, we had every intention of being her forever home. But over the past several months we realized this isn’t the home she deserves. We leave town. She doesn’t get walked. She’s not the baby anymore. If it was only that, I could make changes and make more effort to provide the home life she deserves. But my mama bear instinct couldn’t shake the fear of something happening."
