Revamp a Lamp
By The Non-Consumer Advocate on April 02, 2012
In the weeks leading up to Earth Day (Sunday, April 22) GREEN will focus on acts of sincere greenery at home. There's no better way to kick off this series than with a post from one of my bloggy heroines, Katy Wolk-Stanley, who lives by the philosophy: "Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without"...starting with this thrift store lamp makeover:
"It may have taken awhile, but I finally finished refurbishing my vintage Goodwill lamp. And yes, I’m really happy with how it turned out. It’s shiny, it’s chrome-y, it’s solid without being clunky, and yes, it’s tubular. (Sorry, I couldn’t help myself.)"
