[Editor's Note: We all have that painting or print stashed away in a closet that once upon a time we loved and now we can hardly look at. Why not rescue, reclaim and reuse that canvas. Mandy from The House of Rose made herself a spiffy new piece of art with a few cans of paint she had on hand and a modern looking stencil from the craft store. How to Stencil a Canvas

Even the most experienced crafters sometimes makes mistakes. Thank goodness, makes the rest of us feel better about ourselves. Good thing Mandy knows how to turn lemons into lemonade: " I was in a hurry when I was doing this project {sleeping baby was about to wake}. I didn’t mark the stencil with a pencil so that I knew EXACTLY where to lay it on the sides.”
