Rough Game For Penguins as Flyers Take Lead in NHL Playoffs

There was lots of smack talk Sunday afternoon in a wild NHL game in which fists were flying faster than shots on goal. In fact it seemed like almost everyone dropped their gloves during Game 3 between the Penguins and Flyers in the Eastern Conference Quarterfinal. The Flyers rallied from an early deficit for a decisive victory that placed them on the brink of an improbable sweep. Pen's fan Ashley Langlois, who blogs at The Pens Nation, knows the chances of continuing on after being down 3-0 in a series. With 7:58 left in the first period, the hockey game would pause, momentarily, for a few seconds of ‘Fight Club! On Ice!” as Voracek would attempt to have words with Sullivan while Sidney Crosby and Claude Giroux dropped the gloves and Kris Letang proceeded to pull Kimmo Timmonen’s jersey over his head before asking him to dance. When the dust settled, Timmonen and Letang would be removed from the game and the Penguins would have the man advantage.
