but only as measures of preparation for college, basically telling admissions officers how much a student may know from what he or she took in high school or what kind of courses that may not be clear on a transcript, no wonder there is a move to get rid of them since the meaning of the tests have been deliberately distorted by "reformers" and the media.They aren't "intelligence" tests, they aren't predictors of college "success," and they aren't predictors of "success" in life.
