After finally watching the first two Hunger Games movies last week, I'm slightly more invested in seeing Mockingjay. (Although I still bitterly resent the practice of splitting single books into two movies—you'll have to pry the cost of two tickets out of my cold dead hands, Lionsgate.) The teaser trailer for Mockingjay: Part I was posted over the weekend, and while I've read a lot of speculation over how they'll handle the untimely death of Philip Seymour Hoffman, I'm more interested in how they'll depict Katniss's psychological state, which by this point in the series consists of a lot of PTSD-induced apathy, which might not make for compelling viewing. . . .
