Skipping Spring

Since I’ve been home for the holidays, I’ve run something like 65 or 70 miles, which is EASILY more than my last 4 (injured) Christmases combined. While the conditions have been anything but ideal, with plenty of slush, ice, single digit temps and treadmills in the mix, it feels SO damn good to have come home with a healthy pair of legs. All this running helps reinforce the fact that my top goal not just for this next year, but for EVERY year, is to stay healthy. . . .
