Storify Collects Up Your Social Media Life

BlogHer Spotlight

Keiko Zoll from Awesomesauce writes about the new tool, Storify, and how it can be used to create a cohesive story out of all the bits and pieces of social media that you contribute throughout your day. She walks you through exactly how to get started, and then gives an example from an event she went to where she spent the evening sending out updates via Twitter and Facebook. I love the possibilities in this: the idea that you can use social media as you wish, and then return home to collect it in one, simple page.

The exciting part about Storify is that you’re not just limited to importing Twitter updates. With Storify, you can add Facebook posts and pages, Flickr and Tumblr images, YouTube videos, Google News items and even embed URLs. Storify ultimately can become a powerful tool to document special events in a most unconventional way.

Anyone else using Storify? Intrigued to try it from this post?
