Students Finding Confidence & Expression by Blogging

Today's students have a whole world open to them that those of us who ahem, a little older, did not. For instance, blogging opens up a world of expression, communication, and interaction that didn't exist before. The sky is the limit in terms of possibilities as long as students blog appropriately and safely. Here's one teacher's take on and recommendations for students who blog (or want to).
As the year winds down here and we teachers are counting down to our long-awaited break, there are many meetings and workshops. Today was also the day for our Personalized Professional Development groups to share their findings and present their ideas to the faculty. One of the presentations today described projects in all three divisions - lower, middle and upper school - to introduce students to blogging.
