StyleLife: Run Pinky, Run!
It’s 10:40 AM and I am currently crossing the start line to the NYC Marathon and making my way up the Verrazano-Narrows bridge from Staten Island into Brooklyn. Today I will be running 26.2 through the five boroughs of New York City, and by the end of the day I will be able to call myself a marathoner. But this journey never began with me desiring to be a marathoner, quite the contrary actually. I always said I would never run a marathon. Never. Not only did it sound excruciating, but I honestly wasn’t sure it was something I would (or could) follow through with. Yet, here I am doing exactly what I said I wouldn’t. Never say never. This might just be one of the most awesome things I will ever do.
