Compression socks really help, especially in later pregnancy! The whole on-your-feet-all-day-then-cramped-in-a-plane-swollen-feet thing is not fun, but the compression socks/stockings not only decrease swelling, but help prevent that (literal) foot dragging at the end of the day.

Put a few drops of a "clean" smelling essential oil (lemon or peppermint are good) and put it in a ziplock bag in your purse. Then if you are trapped somewhere (planes are the worst) and there's a smell that makes you want to barf, you can pull out the hankie and smell something nice. It helps!
