Update Your Favorite Dress With Simple Heart Shaped Sewing
By Stars for Streetlights on January 09, 2012
Circles and squares are fine and dandy, but let’s face it hearts take the cake in the cute department. With Valentine’s Day a little more than a month away Stars for Streetlights has one of the most adorable sewing projects on their blog I have seen in a good long while. Meet the DIY heart cut out dress. I love the way the dress looks over a black and white striped shirt. I keep thinking about all the undershirt possibilities. This dress might quickly become the most versatile item in your closet!
Thinking to yourself that this dress is beyond your sewing skill level? Think again. Blogger Stacie Grissom had this to say about the project:
I would say the skill level needed for a heart cutout is basic, but you have to have pins. You also need to pay close attention to the details.
