[Editor’s note: In case you missed it, last weekend there was a fascinating story in the NY Times Magazine about boys who dress like girls and how their parents respond. Does this writer have young daughters? Has Padawer heard about the boy’s baseball team from Our Lady of Sorrows that recently forfeited rather than play a girl? Or what about Katie, the girl who was bullied just because she brought her Star Wars lunch box, a “boy thing,” to school?
