I know it's only February and you don't want to think about bathing suits right now (though the President's Day Sales on bathing suits was hot, hot hot!). But this post by Anna at Hidden Ponies is a gem! Who knew that taking your kids bathing suit shopping could be so awesome! (Though she does have some cons as well.)

Her list of pros made me giggle:

Stag Shop - Toronto (on Yonge)Pros:

  • loyal fans: I got plenty of smiles, applause, and “Ooooh, that looks SO cute on you, Mom!”
  • larger change room
  • no expectation that you will wrangle the rejected suits back onto their hangers before leaving
  • decisiveness – no patience here for lollygagging and re-trying the “possibles”

Funny post! Cute about her daughter getting nipples and armpits confused.

Should anyone wear bikinis? Yes, anyone who feels comfortable wearing one should. If someone doesn't like how you look in a bikini, they can just look the other way!

Me, I wear a one piece or a tankini. Just for the record. :)

eatdrinkluv Lol, thanks :) Sometimes my "mom" side trumps my "obsess about food" side...but I could spend more time identifying body parts!

Fantastic. I can relate. I wish I couldn't, but there it is.

Bathing suit shopping with kids ranks right up there with trying to do yoga with them home in my book!!
