Will Robert Pattinson Join the 'Catching Fire' Cast? The Internet Hopes Not.

[Editor's Note: The internet is abuzz with totally unsubstatiated hearsay that Edward Cullen himself could have an invitation to join the already smashingly successful Hunger Games franchise...much to the chagrin of everyone with a keyboard everywhere.
The rumors have picked up speed with Pattinson's Water for Elephants director Francis Lawrence confirmed to be taking over the franchise. Crushable rounded up some of The Hunger Games most rabid fans to see what they thought of the potential clash of the tween literary titans. --Morgan]

Everyone has their own image of the dreamy Finnick in their heads and I really doubt anyone’s picturing the brooding Robert Pattinson. Okay, maybe some people. But not enough to justify throwing him in the film. If they do that, they might as well cast Ryan Gosling as another tribute and call it a New Year’s Eve ensemble film
The Hunger Games franchise can stand on its own and it doesn’t need a tween superstar like Pattinson to propel it to box office success. Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson handled that all by themselves the first time around and I think they’re fully prepared to do it again.
What do you think? Would RPatz do Finnick justice?
