I'm a little over the nudge-nudge wink-wink about the boys dancing together, can you tell?

Last night, each contestant danced one routine with an all-star and one solo. This week's highlights:

So You Think You Can Dance Twitch Alex

- Yes, two boys dancing together. Apparently as scary as dogs! and cats! living together!!!. Only ... SYTYCD has done it before, which made how coy they were being about it even more annoying.

- Last night, I think the judges all agreed with my assessment of last week ... only it was too late -- they'd already sent the wrong dancer home. Ouch!

- I almost thought Edward Cullen was up on stage, what with all the talk about sparkle.

- I'm apparently completely missing the appeal of SYTYCD's own version of Kellie Pickler.

So, let's dig in, shall we?

1. Adechike and all-star Lauren danced a Dave Scott Hip-Hop routine

This was Adechike's best routine yet. It was the first time we got to see him have some fun, show off some funk and have actual chemistry with his partner. The theme of buttoned up business folks stripping down and rocking it out wasn't exactly ground-breaking, but Adechike showed more sexual interest in Lauren dressed in a vest and tie than he had in Kathryn dressed in a teeny red dress with stiletto pumps. Score one for Annie Hall garb!

His solo: Well, I mean I'm not going to complain about the start just showing off his fine FINE physique in a few slow poses, are you? BUt I like that his approach was more subtle, not just a bunch of leaping about, and yet retained the intensity and excitement of more over-the-top solos.

Bottom line: I really think he had a great week, and since he hasn't been in the bottom during bad weeks, I have to assume he's safe.

2. Ashley and all-star Neil danced a Dee Caspari Contemporary routine

All that stuff about fluidity? Very spot-on. This was a fast-moving and fluid routine, and she really was, all of a sudden, a woman dancing, not a girl. (I feel a Neil Diamond song coming on.) I actually didn't feel she and Ade had any deep connection or chemistry, and I pretty much just watched her. Which may be good for her.

Her solo: This solo wouldn't have helped her in a dance-for-your-life situation. It took a looong time to get going, and they didn't have that much time. She's beautiful, but this solo didn't live up to the maturity and beautiful moves in her routine with Ade.

Bottom line: I don't think she exudes a lot of charisma, so I'm always afraid she's at risk.

3. Robert and all-star Courtney danced a Sonia Jazz routine

This routine was not my cup of tea at all. A little too reminiscent of every other routine Sonia has done, without bringing anything very fresh to the floor. But Robert is definitely my cup of tea. He's not just a really loose, open and extended dancer, he brings a level of intensity and commitment to character to each week that I don't think most of the dancers are matching.

His solo: Yea, so I like that Robert is loose, but this solo may have been a bit *too* loose. It just felt a little too random to draw us in.

Bottom line: Given all of the above, and the fact that he was in the Bottom 3 last week, I have to think he's at risk again.

4. Melinda and all-star Pasha danced a Fabian Sanchez Salsa routine

Melinda may be Columbian, but I don't think it inherently gave her a Salsa aptitude. I was really bummed that Cristina wasn't here this week to dance this routine...can you imagine how hot that would have been? And by the end, the judges were clearly in total agreement with me. As it should always be, I mean really...why don't they just have my number on auto-dial when they go off to make their elimination decisions? WHY DON'T THEY??? [Same goes for American Idol, Dancing with the Stars, Project Runway and any other show I watch, should go without saying.] OK, anyway, back to the Salsa. Unfortunately Melinda is so used to playing to the crowd that I never felt it was really about luring Pasha. The comment Nigel made later in the evening about playing to your partner and not the girls in the front row could have applied to a couple of other dancers last night, particularly Melinda. There was no

I watched the Alex and Twitch routine three times. Melinda went home so, buh-bye. That Salsa was off and so was that solo.

Was pleased with the result last night. I'm glad the judges finally listened to what America has been trying to tell them for three weeks now.

I thought that the Twitch/Alex Hip-Hop was amazing, and I was also glad to see Adicheke's personality finally come out.

The girls are severely out numbered now...6 to 2, so I would suspect some more guy/guy dancing...and if that hip-hop was any indication of things to come then I will have no trouble tuning in.

Do not like her at all.
Love Ashley and hope she hangs in there.
