Some days you have to just call it what it is... a slip up day. No one said eating Gluten free was easy and on the average day I would say I eat 90-95% Gluten Free. But today there was Gluten in every meal I eat. But as the night ends I am reminding myself that tomorrow is another chance to make different decisions. So to the gym I go and will make better choices.
On a good note I enjoyed socializing with family and friends. I always knew I was a lot like my dad but the older I get the more I realize just how much I am like him! He makes friends where ever he goes and I am beginning to see that this is a strength I share with him. I make friends with all the people at the coffee stands, sells people, teachers, people at work the gym, daycare, etc. It is amazing what putting on a smile and taking the time to engage with people will do.
There is nothing like watching Biggest Loser to help you beat yourself up. But there is a silver lining a bad day use to mean~ 3 mocha, pasta, candy and an ice cream sandwich (or two). It is all about choices and we all make them every day, hour and minute. So what choices will you make next?
