Some of my favorite Posts from BlogHer...(and none of them are mine!)
One of the biggest blessings in being a part of the NaBloPoMo's November challenge, is quite simply, becoming more aware of all the other incredible women writers on this website. Everyday when I post my work and leave a comment on the NaBloPoMo site, I'm amazed at how a simple day can bring so many other great thoughts and ideas.
These are the posts from other writers that are (in my opinion) so great...I wish I had written them;
You will not only hunger for tomatoes after this...but in this post there is the most fantastic picture of tomatoes sunning themselves in the August sun...when Robin decides to sell this photo I'm going to be her first customer. It's like getting a few minutes of summer back, you can almost feel the sun and feel the warmth shining through your computer...
What I've discovered about BlogHer is that this can really become a community family quite quickly. When I started blogging, Robin was one of the first who reached out to me. I would've given up on this NaBloPoMo challenge if it wasn't for her, and Virginia, who (Virginia) got me in the mood for pot pies with her post;
Chris Dean is fighting an Auto Immune disease with every thing she has, she's also a mom and a darn good writer...and this is funnier then hell when it comes to Chris deciding what social network should she give up;
Liesl (Waffle-Wednesday) lives on a farm in Oregon, and you will enjoy her observation on life, and celebrate with her on the birth of several beautiful piglets (and meet the mom "Sweet Pea"--AND YES there's pictures) in this post called;
Carrien and her family are truly changing the world...she and her husband are going to move to the other side of the world and change the lives of orphans...her story is unbelievable, you just have to read this;
I got laid off 2 months ago...It sucks, it truly does, and I hate doing the job searches, the "it's not you, it's us...it's just we have too many choices to choose from, to consider you..." But this story from blogger Loki-Lou just chilled me to the bone, and it will you too and it's something you should read before you go see your case manager;
I LOVE ElaineRN...if you have any medical questions, she'll try to get you an answer;
There are so many more I want to list but my break is just about over, so this is what I was able to list in the time I had (there's also great posts I didn't have time to include by KarenLynn, Jane Collins, barbaratechel and if you were a fan of Nora Ephron--Mona Gable wrote a tribute piece I think Nora would've loved).
I hope you enjoy these posts as much as I did.
