Something To Think About

I travelled recently to Kansas to visit my best friend for a few days, to help her with a rough spot in her life. As we went around town and purchased items I noticed the word "Thank You" is not used anymore by those who wait the customer. What is so wrong with saying Thank You? I also noticed terrible attitudes and the constant "rolling of eyes" if I had a question. This is just not something that happens in Kansas but it seems this occurs everywhere. Is it just me or has soceity gotten lazy? I believe saying "Thank You", can go a long way. Kill those in a sour mood with kindness. You will be amazed how far it goes but then I also have seen where does nothing to the receiver. What needs to change?
