Road trip!
I would love to try the Escape Hybrid out for a road trip. It looks like a good size for hauling cargo and kids and I like the fuel efficiency rating and eco-conscious design details.

Just One?
They all look great. I love the recyclable seating in the Escape, and the Smart Guage Eco Guide is a very cool idea. I am sure I have bad habits I don't even know about that could be changed to maximize fuel efficiency.
I would take any of these on a roadtrip form NOLA to Chicago for BlogHer:)

Graceland, Graceland, Memphis Tennessee
I would escape in the Escape Hybrid with my teenaged son who wants to make a pilgrimage to Graceland, and we'd blare the radio with the power sunroof open and camp in the Holly Springs National Forest and have tailgate picnic lunches eating Elvis' favorite peanut butter and banana sandwiches, because that's how we roll in our Escape.

Flexibility is key on the road...
Definitely the Escape Hybrid for a road trip - the fuel economy is appealing and makes me feel less guilt about burning fossil fuels. The room to bring luggage and a cooler in the rear or back seat permits some flexibility to bring snacks and beverages plus some recreational gear for hiking or camping.
I also like that the Escape is taller than the Fusion or the Flex. It means better range of vision for someone rather short like me....The higher vehicle also makes it easier to get kids in and out if your'e not standing on your head to fasten/unfasten seat belts and baby car seats. Higher access to the rear makes loading and unloading easier too

Ford Flex
Well, it would definitely be the Ford Flex for me since I need all the seating area. It would be perfect for our family of six. I'd love to see more selections of many-seated vehicles. Thanks, Ford, for a new choice!
Fusion Hybrid
I love the fuel economy of this vehicle! As a student who normally travels in small groups (2 to 4) and who has very little money to spare for gas, this would be the perfect vehicle for a road trip - not only that, but I have so many road trips coming up! (Travelling to my new graduate school, to my friend's school, to my old hometown... and so on.)
Road trip to Blogher '09...
Hands down...Escape Hybrid because for one I've always wanted the regular Escape. I looked at Mazda's Tribute when it first came out and I liked the Escape so much better. Perhaps it's the name...ESCAPE. Escaping from reality on the highway. That would be my choice.
I love the : Escape
I love the :
Escape Hybrid
Not only do you get better gas milage with a powerful engine

I would love to drive the Escape Hybrid I LOVE SUV's but I know how much gas they consume. I think a hybrid offers a more fuel and cost efficient option

I would love to drive the
Ford Escape Hybrid. It is big enough for my family and all our things we always take with us on trips. It looks roomy and comfortable.

flex!
the flex is the only one that would come even a tiny bit close to fitting the fam...
Fusion Hybrid, all the way
This is the easiest question I've answered today (including, "Do you want fries with that?").
I am totally jonesing for a Fusion Hybrid. I don't say this out loud, as I would not want to hurt my current car's feelings. She is a wonderful '06 Fusion for whom I care deeply, but it's kind of like pointing hot guys while you're in front of your boyfriend. It's just insensitive.
I'm a total Fusion fan. I love the styling, I love the handling, I love the features. I bought my current car because I really liked the gas mileage, but the hybrid's improved mileage has me sold on it already.
Yes, Ford, you had my at "hybrid." Make it a Fusion and I'm ready to roadtrip.
Flex For Sure
I have to say that I would totally pick the Ford Flex. First, it seats 7 people. How important it is to feel comfy and not cramped on Road Trips. I for one know that much, ha! Also, it's cleaner for the environment. The look ats to it as well... NICE CAR! I own an Escape now, but I might switch to the Flex now!

Escape Hybrid my camping companion
It's a Long Way from New Hampshire to Chicago...so I'd need lots of room for all the camping gear I'd pack in order to camp our way across the U.S.
Luckily the Escape Hybrid has plenty of room for car seats, tents, bags (the sleeping kind) and all the city clothes we'd need once we get to the conferece. Oh, and it's big enough to haul around the stroller and potty seat for the potty-training emergencies on the road. (If you've done it, you know what I'm talking about...)
We test drove the Fusion Hybrid last month and I was impressed with the zippiness and handling. But as much as I liked it, it just wouldn't do for the kind of summertime outing I envision for a BlogHer pilgrimmage.
I would absolutely LOVE to
I would absolutely LOVE to take the Fusion Hybrid to BlogHer. I am already on the waiting list and planning on going even though I do not have a ticket. BlogHer or Bust lol. Also I had a chance to try the Ford Fusion at the Idol Rocks/Ford Rolls Party and they are great! You can't beat 41 MPG and a rocking design.

Hybrid Please
I'd go with the hybrid since it would give me the size I need for two kids and a dog while still managing to have pretty awesome gas milage. :)
The Fuel Efficient Flex
I would love to take the fuel efficient ford flex on a roadtrip or on a roadtrip to BlogHer. I have two kids so it would roomy enough for them to move around. Plus if we need to take nap it will roomy enough for everyone. The ford flex will be perfect for the BlogHer trip too, because I don't have a hotel room, so I may need to sleep in the car - LOL

I wanted to go with the Escape Hybrid because of the mileage, but because of my family's size, I'd have to go with the Flex.

Easy...the Escape Hybrid! I schlep around my two daughters all the time, and at 34 mpg in the city, I'd be all over that puppy! How cool is that!

Road Trip!
Without question--The Ford Flex. I'd gather up 5 of my Barry Manilow friends and take them on the road trip of their lives. We'd crank up the sound system with Copacabana and Some Girls and fly down the highway with the Manilow vibe and some awesome Manilow tunes and memories. The clincher for me is the engine that reduces CO2 emissions. What a way to ride!

Flex
I would pick the Flex because my now 14yo son has been following the Flex's production since it was a concept. For a few years now the Flex has been his #1vehicle. His plan is that by the time he gets his license he will be able to find a used Flex to buy and trick out.
