Have you begun a coupon Swap?
If the answer is no then start one. Invite your saving friends and host a weekly coupon swaps. This is a great idea for many reasons your guest can swap unwanted coupons, stock up on favorite coupons, and help their friends out not only by exchanging coupons, but by sharing tips and advice.
By attending these swap parties you can become more prepared, and savvy shopper and socializing with friends is always great to relieve the stress of a long week were all so busy with activities work and its important to have time even if that time is spend having fun and catching up with friends at your weekly coupon swap night.
Just a few ideas for your coupon swap:
Freebie Swap: During the week check out our Freebie Page to learn where and how to grab your freebies and as each couponer gather her deals of the week, she can try to grab one or two extra free items .Then, during the next week’s swap guest who were able to snag extra freebies can get their swapping on for not only coupons but freebies too. It’s always excited when a savers is willing to swap an item that was sold out at the time I visited the store. This is just a fun way to pass unwanted freebies on to friends who will give them a good home.
Everyone love a door prize and for couponers a free Sunday paper is a great door prize so have your guest each bring a fresh Sunday paper and if you have ten guest then you have 10 newspapers to give away to a very lucky couponer. During your swap distribute a numbered ticket or scrap of paper to each couponer who successfully completes a swap. The more coupons your guests swap with one another, the more tickets they will receive. Toss all the entries into a bag at the end of the night, and the lucky couponer whose name is drawn becomes the proud new owner of a pile of, crisp Sunday paper full of coupons. I don’t know about you but having a chance of getting 10 coupons of any kind is great for me and a wonderful incentive to come back next week.
Now for the food, as savers we know the best way to stretch any meal is through potluck so invite all your guest to bring their favorite pot luck dish. As a challenge each dishes must include at least one ingredient that was purchased at a discount during the week with coupons. Each guest should bring copies of their recipes and make enough copies for everyone. Since coupon releases and sales often occur in cycles, the entire group benefits from building recipe collections that include stockpile staples.
Sorting coupons does have to be boring once you’ve swapped pop in a movie and popcorn and make it ladies only movie night. Have guest take turns bring their favorite movie to the swap it makes the coupon organizing time go faster and you get to relax with a good movie and great friends.
So send out those e-vites fro free using Smilebox and start your Coupon Swap Night this week.
