Day 2 of a Clutter Free Home
clearing space in that over stuffed hallway or entry way closet is our agenda for today. We all have that over stuffed closet that we store all those jackets and odd and ends we never seem to use.
Well first empty the closet into piles a box for donate, give and keep. Then decide if the keep box is in season if not then decide if it should be stored somewhere else garage, basement somewhere you
know it will be dry.
Now if you feel you still need them then place see through bin on the top shelf of your closet to store hats mitten, and scarves. Put a shoe rack on the floor for boots and other winter gear this will make finding the items you need accessible when you need them.
Now for those jackets only place enough hangers in that closet as you have jackets too many invite you to keep unnecessary items. Remember that old hanger rule when you use a item have the
hanger facing out at the end of the season if the hanger never get turned around meaning you didn’t use it then donate or give it away.
