Spend Less Save More: June Sales and monthly review
Well it’s June 1st. so we need to remind you to do your end of the month review and find out where your money went last month. With a review of last month’s expenses you will learn where your money is going and where you can possibly reduce spending and save more. Remember to check your bank and or credit card statements and see if you can make a phone call and reduce your monthly rate. If you are taking part in the 52 week challenge congratulations you should now have $355.00 in your savings. If you don’t you can always catch up or start today just add a dollar to your savings account and then add to that each week $1.00 this week $2.00 next and so on by the end of the year you will be surprised by just how much you’ve saved.
Now to the sales for this month be on the lookout for the following items and stock up whenever possible.
National Dairy Month: eggs, milk, ice cream, cheese, butter, yogurt, Cool Whip, in-store dairy coupons or booklets. Keep a look out for Catalinas that offer free milk when you buy cereal this month.
End of June is Fourth of July Sales: hot dogs, hamburgers, BBQ sauce, ketchup, condiments, charcoal, salad dressing, potato chips, and dips
Seasonal Produce: apricots, blackberries, blueberries, boysenberries, cherries, corn, cucumbers, eggplant, grapes, honeydews, nectarines, peaches, potatoes, raspberries, red onions, summer squash, strawberries, sweet Vidalia onions, tomatoes, watermelons
