Spend Less Save More: Save this Halloween

Happy Halloween! I hope you took advantage of the free Halloween decorations, invitation and photo collages on our freebie page if not they are still available and don’t forget those pumpkin stencils.

How can you save this Halloween? Other than those freebies I just mentioned well today is a good day for discounted Halloween candy and everything Halloween, however if you already have yours this weekend will be an even better time to save. I know you’re asking yourself why I need Halloween candy after Halloween.  It’s called saving for the upcoming holidays wither Thanksgiving, Hanukah, Christmas or New Years Eve you can use the candy and decorations.

Saving the black streamers or balloons would be great for New Years Eve parties just add some silver or gold accents and you have your fun décor.  I have a friend that saves candy from each holiday and wraps them in New Years Eve goodie bags just a way of enjoying the whole year at the end of the year. Also simply unwrapping or jarring the candy and adding a ribbon or placing in a candy dish anyone would love.  Try unwrapping them putting them in a cellophane gift bag with a bow and placing in a stocking any kid would love that Christmas morning.

Think outside the box when it comes to post holiday sales and you can save all year long. So stock up when you can and be creative. I would love to hear some of your money stretching ideas for the holidays so please comment.   Visit the Halloween and Freebie page at www.where2save.com for get free ideas.
